Raytheon’s Naval Systems Department within Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) is seeking a Test Architect (TA) to be the technical lead for integration and test on the SPY-6 Family of Radars (V)1 variant. The SPY-6 (V)1 TA will be the primary technical representative for all integration and test events for the (V)1 variant, across all site locations including numerous in-plant labs, Land Based Test Sites, and Shipyards. The SPY-6 (V)1 TA will be responsible for integration & test strategy and planning, ensuring team and system readiness to support events, interfacing with customer counterparts, building and maintaining relationships with our industry partners, and providing leadership and guidance to our site teams in preparation for these high visibility activities. The SPY-6 (V)1 TA will work closely with the (V)1 Program Office, Chief Engineer (CE), and Lead Systems Engineer (LSE). The SPY-6 (V)1 TA will frequently interface with leaders and technical subject matter experts within the program and customer communities, as well as Engineering leaders and cross-discipline development teams to ensure readiness to support various events. They will implement best practices, provide mentoring and guidance to the team and identify lessons learned to drive improvements. **What You Will Do** + Develop strategy and lead integration and test activities for SPY-6 (V)1 radar system + Develop plans and provide direction for integration and test team activities + Drive defect resolution, from discovery to closure + Coordinates with I&T CPT Lead, Waterfront Lead, (V)1 PM, IPT Lead, CE, and LSE + Mentor and grow engineering team across multiple sites + Communicate externally, responsible for interfacing with leaders in the (V)1 customer community + Travel as required to support integration and test activities with the team at numerous in-plant labs, Land Based Test Sites, Shipyards, customer facilities + Be a Subject Matter Expert in Systems Integration, Verification, and/or Validation + Approximately, 15% travel is required to support integration and test activities with the team at numerous in-plant labs, Land Based Test Sites, Shipyards, and customer facilities. The role may require extended hours. + This role can be based out of Marlborough, MA, Tewksbury, MA, San Diego CA, Portsmouth, RI, or Moorestown NJ. **Qualifications You Must Have** + Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), and a minimum of 10 years of prior engineering experience. + Experience in systems engineering, systems integration, verification, and/or validation. + Experience in integration lab, and/or test facility. + Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
