Job Description:

As a results-oriented leader, we would love to have you on our team as you oversee and direct the product development, commercialization and deployment of data-oriented solutions to the mortgage end market. With support and cooperation from our executives, our industry solutions leads, engineering, operations, finance and marketing teams, you will help create a roadmap, strategy and commercial plan for each of our new and existing data products and features. This remote role will see you leverage your influence to build trusted relationships with sales, marketing, finance, data, operations, PMO, and senior management, to deliver exceptional customer outcomes and ultimately drive revenue.
Job Responsibilities:
Understand the mortgage originator, servicer & lending institutions enterprise data needs
Primary data focus will be around marketing, retention and risk management
Ability to drive a solution for generic & specific business problems
Technical expertise with CRM, CDP and Data lakes (cloud infrastructure) and how mortgage lenders deploy and operationalize data.
Passion for diving into details - data quality, data coverage & data lineage.
With some technical help ability to analyze large scale data sets, derive insights, spot inconsistencies and consult with mortgage lenders on how they can maximize ROI with data assets.
Strategy for scaling mortgage data to mid and mass markets via multiple delivery mechanisms - raw data, analytics and/or package SaaS product
Operate and influence a matrixed product team to create a coherent and aligned product roadmap
Ensure that various stages of product development are completed on time by leading, organizing and reporting on updates from cross-functional teams
Represent the voice of the end consumer throughout the development process
Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and end products
Translate ideas into strategy and features, and follow product development from start to finish
Preparing budgets, allocating resources, and delegating tasks
Ensuring product development is on track and adjusting schedules as required.
Build and launch new products ensuring that all new products are “market ready” at time of launch, including having complete documentation, product collateral and ongoing operational support processes
Track product use and impact on end users
Supporting sales engagements as a product expert as and when required
Be transparent about your prioritization and roadmap process
Be able to say “no,” but explain why in terms that stakeholders understand
Be a ruthless “prioritizer” while balancing the needs of customers and stakeholders
Bring evidence-based decision-making to your communication
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing; MBA preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
10+ years of experience in a market/segment management, product management or product marketing role in the mortgage industry
Experience working with data assets used for Marketing and/or Risk Management at a mortgage lender preferred.
Proven track record of successfully managing multiple strategies to execution.
Strong analytical skills and experience with market research tools.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally and lead teams in a dynamic environment.
Strong negotiation, written and oral communication skills and a natural customer-centric approach
Good organization and multitasking abilities
Great analytical and problem-solving skills
An experienced people leader
Savvy and creative minded with ability to connect discrete and complex interactions
A keen eye for detail
The ability to adapt to work alongside and influence a range of stakeholders is essential to success, as is engaging in our culture of ownership, continuous improvement and challenging the status quo
