Join Amazon's North America Reliability and Maintenance Engineering (NA RME) strategy team as we lead strategic programs for personnel, vendor solutions, and workforce optimization. Our team maintains state-of-the-art facilities - from large robotics-enabled warehouses to small, high-speed distribution centers positioned near customers. We optimize technologies across Global Customer Fulfillment, Sort Center/Air, and Delivery Network operations.
As Program Manager, you'll develop and deliver network-level initiatives through collaboration with People Experience & Technologies (PxT), Employee Relations (ER), Procurement, and Talent Acquisition (TA) teams. You'll drive multi-year strategies to enhance talent development and identify workforce solution opportunities. This role demands proven program management expertise to lead strategic, cross-functional organizational design programs. You'll create project plans, develop processes, drive execution, and communicate directly with senior management. Work from any NA RME location with 10% travel required.
Key job responsibilities
Track and report program milestones, risks, and solutions for business reviews at all levels
Drive stakeholder collaboration throughout program lifecycle stages
Manage escalations and balance business needs with operational constraints
Coordinate risk communication across global internal and external teams
Optimize cross-organizational structures to accelerate progress
Identify and prioritize operational improvements
Solve complex business challenges through root cause analysis
Create business reports (MBR, OP) with metrics and insights

Basic Qualifications
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- 5+ years cross-functional experience with tech and non-tech teams
- 5+ years managing and presenting results to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree or 2+ years Amazon experience
- Experience implementing standardized processes and automation
- Proven track record using data to drive program improvements
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Experience influencing senior executives up to VP level
- Expertise in organizational design and maintenance career development

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
