Your New Role…
Warner Bros. Discovery seeks a Sr. People & Culture Partner to support both WBTVG overhead and production employees (scripted and unscripted).
The WBTVG P&C team provides hands-on support to the business, acting as trusted advisors who work closely with all levels of employees. This team partners closely with the studio and its productions to ensure a respectful, inclusive, safe, and positive work environment, allowing people to thrive and do their best work. This team also supports WBTVG in delivering programs and solutions to keep talent engaged and to ensure our company is competitive. We are also agile, whether we’re helping structure an organization, fill a key role, develop new capabilities across the team or grow talent across all levels of the organization. We do the right thing, even when it’s hard.
Your Role Accountabilities…
Initial People & Culture point of contact for Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) employees (overhead studio employees and production employees), handling inquiries and other correspondence (e.g., performance management support).On-set/on-site HR presence for productions, both locally and on distant location.Responds to WBD employee and production-related inquiries and concerns.Provides advice, coaching, counseling, and training to proactively create/maintain an inclusive, respectful, and safe work environment.Partners with the People & Culture team in the implementation of corporate programs, internal trainings, change management initiatives, etc.Assesses training needs and works with Learning & Development to provide recommended training resources and sessions to WBTVG employees.Embodies our culture through behavior and interactions, and champions inclusion and diversity in our workplace.Partners with People Relations, Labor Relations and Employment Legal to deliver People & Culture solutions on people-related issues.Partners with Talent Acquisition and Compensation to handle recruitment of staff.Partners with Safety Dept. to support safety policies and protocols.Keeps abreast of People & Culture trends/practices, legislation, and requirements to effectively manage and communicate to employees.Travels to productions on location when needed; last minute travel may be required.Develops strong working relationships with all People & Culture COE functions, including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, HRIS, Compensation & Benefits, to provide ‘seamless’ support and guidance to the business.Creates presentation decks, charts, graphs, and various materials, as needed.Manages special projects and performs additional related duties, as assigned.Qualifications & Experience...
A bachelor’s degree within a related field, preferred.A minimum of 7 years of experience within Human Resources, preferably in a generalist or employee relations role, or a combination of the two.Experience working in a television and/or film production environment, is highly desirable.Strong experience in employee relations.A collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence others into action and to think creatively about solutions.Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Thrives in a fast-paced and challenging environment, driven to accomplish and satisfy objectives.Current knowledge of applicable state and federal laws, ensuring compliance.Working knowledge of compensation and benefits practices.Experience in working with a culturally diverse workforce.High ethical standards with demonstrated experience handling highly sensitive information.Passion for this business.Ability to travel.The ideal candidate will be flexible and focused, with a ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-changing and fast-paced challenging environment. They will have a collaborative leadership style with the ability not only to build relationships with all overhead and production employees, but also to influence others into action and think creatively about solutions. They should be confident in communicating with all levels of talent, including producers, directors, high-profile cast, and senior leadership. In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $95,550.00 - $177,450.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
