You will be at the forefront of driving initiatives that significantly impact our global operations and enabling our customers to deliver on their mission. **A day in the Life:** + Coordinate and lead certification and recertification testing via ISTA and IATA using both in-house capabilities and third party facilities. + Build a growth strategy to further strengthen the core competency in packaging design, development and testing. + Lead packaging-related failure investigations to determine root causes and implement corrective actions. + Manage bottle and closure design, supplier selection, and develop control processes. + Engage with customer change notifications and complete engineering change orders successfully. + Mentor and grow junior packaging engineers, encouraging their development and expertise. **Keys to Success:** + Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver outstanding results. + Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently. + Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. + Self-motivated, proactive, and hard-working **Education** + Bachelor of Science in Packaging Science or equivalent experience (or an Engineering background with packaging experience) **Experience** + Proven packaging experience with UN Packaging/Hazmat requirements + Knowledge of packaging test methods and equipment + Familiarity with statistics and/or reliability engineering + Experience at a chemical site a plus **Knowledge, Skills, Abilities** + In-depth knowledge of packaging materials, design, and engineering principles. + Outstanding problem-solving skills with a strict attention to detail. + Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse partners **Physical Requirements / Work Environment** Work primarily in an office and medical manufacturing setting with occasional visits to supplier sites. **Benefits** We offer competitive remuneration, annual incentive plan bonuses, healthcare, and a range of employee benefits.
