Sr. Operations Project Manager (Sr. OPM)
**Job Description:** Manages all aspects of diverse projects which require technical knowledge and expertise. Uses project management tools including EBS ( IT/Engineering/Scientific). Leads, coordinates and/or facilitates cross functional technical teams with direct and dotted line reporting to achieve project goals in support of the company’s goals and annual operating plan. Tracks, communicates and reports on the issues and status updates for projects. **Job Requirements:** **_PURPOSE_** _– :_ The Sr. Operations Project Manager (Sr. OPM) is involved in the early stages of product development (i.e. feasibility studies), etc., as a representative from operations whose purpose is to build in the manufacturability and optimal production cost of products early in the development phase while preparing operations for future product development. As Sr.OPM, you are also responsible for acting as OPM (Operations Project Manager) in assigned launch projects or internal operations projects.Project Manager Operations runs internal Operations projects and represents Operations in assigned product launch projects. For launch projects, the project manager coordinates key Logistics and Planning activities for the phasing in and out of products at Nobel Biocare on a project basis. For internal projects the project manager identifies, develops and manages initiatives which drive service and reduce costs. This role will ensure that robust plans, risk management, adequate support and resources are in place to meet deliverables in assigned projects **_ACCOUNTABILITIES_** _– :_ + Aligning with Ops strategies to ensure their incorporation into future NPIdevelopment projects. + For launch projects, the project manager coordinates key Supply ChainLogistics and Planning activities for the phasing in and out of products at Nobel Biocare on a project basis + For internal projects the project manager identifies, develops and manages initiatives which drive service and reduce costs + To manage a portfolio of projects / initiatives, running in parallel, ensuring stakeholder alignment pre and post TG2 and coordinate Ops resource planning for all NPIs (i.e. Monthly Resource Planning PPL) + To successfully deliver each project according to specification, on time and at budgeted cost + To be the key Ppoint of Ccontact (POC) for all Operations related activities in the phasing in and out of products (assortment change) on a project basis and be part of global discussions on opportunities/risks/issues in early stages of NPI. + To centrally plan and coordinate all Planning and Logistics activities for the phasing in and out of products for assigned projects + Ensure optimum product availability for the successful launch of new products in line with launch plans and followed up monthly by KPlsBe the main project manager and feel particular ownership for projects related to Operations. in Americas + Quickly learn and apply the standard tools and processes implemented in the department + •Maintain up-to-date status of relevant documentation and monitoring in a transparent manner + e Continuously improve, develop and implement, together with stakeholders, global, robust and harmonisedharmonized processes for the phasing in and out of products + Interact with Operations functions, Launch teams and, R&D. and Business Units throughout , The process goes from feasibility study to launch.. Identify, develop and manage initiatives which drive service and reduce supply chain costs + Persistently apply EDBS tools like PSP, TPI, Kaizen, VPM and other LEAN tools where suitable + Be a frequent requestor of master data changes in SAP and learn basic SAP skills **_KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE_** _–_ _:_ **Critical Knowledge and Qualifications:** _(what the role holder must know; including any required general or professional qualifications/education)_ + B.Sc. or M.Sc. in the area of Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance or Engineering is preferred. Qualified Project Management **Critical Skills/technical know-how:** + Fluent written and spoken English, other languages are an asset + Qualified Project Management + Strong communication and organisationorganization skills i.e. a well organisedorganized and structured individual + Strong interpersonal and influencing skills + good business acumen + Comfortable working in matrix organisationsorganizations across multiple functions and geographies + Understand the links and connections between the supply chain, manufacturing, phase in/out, master data, product development and sales **Critical Experience:** + Experience of working with SAP (or other ERP) and Master Data systems + Experience of Manufacturing or Supply/ or Production Planning in SAP is highly appreciated + Ability to run a project from concept to conclusion i.e. outlining goals, project phases, timelines, resources, budget and activities as well as monitoring progress, taking corrective actions and escalating issues on a timely basis thus ensuring project objectives and deadlines are met. + At least 5 years experience in managing multiple projects, at the same time, in an operational / IT environment.
