JOB SUMMARY

Provide strategic leadership to the mid-stream steel processing manufacturing footprint consisting of Pickle, Reversing Cold Mill and metal coil coating lines. Manage infrastructure, systems, staffing, organizational structure, implementation of new technology and automation, and equipment installation. Provide technical guidance in implementation of best practices for start-up, transition, and ongoing safe, compliant, reliable, and cost-effective operation. Manage operating, maintenance, and engineering aspects of heavy industry plants including MTEC and HSEC, employee relations, and contractors. Support the human resources plan for the Operations and Maintenance team. Perform planning management, administration of major equipment supply and construction contracts, and commercial and technical document preparation.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.

Eight years of experience in the metal coil coating industry to include:

Line process engineering and maintenance.PLC's and automation products.Financial budget management.Capital project management.Manual, Training, Equipment and Commissioning.Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.Leading and managing Maintenance and Engineering teams.Vendor management.AutoCAD.Minitab Statistical Software.Lean Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement.

OSHA 10 and 30 certifications.

In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree plus eight years of experience, a Master's degree plus six years of experience is acceptable.

Travel 15% to domestic or international locations based on company or project needs.
