Sr. Mission Manager
Sr. Mission Manager **Remote Only** Contract to Hire $70/hr - $100/hr **TG Federal is actively seeking a Sr. Mission Manager to join our remote team of Cybersecurity professionals.** **Summary:** The Sr. Mission Manager is a hybrid leadership role that combines the responsibilities of a Program Manager, Account Manager, and Sales Consultant. This individual will serve as the primary liaison between the client and CMS, ensuring contract adherence, delivering on operational objectives, fostering strategic growth, and leading a team of Mission Managers. They will drive client satisfaction and success by aligning internal teams with the client’s evolving needs, while identifying growth opportunities and guiding service expansion efforts. **Key Responsibilities:** **Client Relationship & Program Oversight** + Serve as the main point of contact for assigned client programs, building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships. + Ensure contractual obligations are fully understood and executed across the operations team. + Track, manage, and report on labor utilization, forecasting, and burn rates to ensure alignment with project budget and scope. + Conduct regular program reviews and status updates with the client and internal stakeholders. + Translate client goals into actionable operational objectives and ensure deliverables meet defined success criteria. **Operational Accountability & Internal Alignment** + Work closely with SOC leadership, project managers, and technical leads to ensure successful execution of services. + Proactively identify and resolve issues or blockers within service delivery. + Hold cross-functional teams accountable for performance and adherence to contractual KPIs and SLAs. + Maintain a deep understanding of the client environment and ensure internal teams are well-informed and aligned. **Sales & Strategic Consulting** + Act as a trusted advisor to the client, identifying needs and proactively proposing enhancements or additional services. + Collaborate with business development and technical leads to craft customized solutions that align with client security objectives. + Drive upsell opportunities and renewal discussions with a focus on long-term client retention and satisfaction. + Provide input to pricing models, scope definition, and RFP responses as needed. **Leadership & Team Development** + Lead a team of Mission Managers supporting various client programs. + Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to junior Mission Managers. + Establish and refine best practices for client engagement, program delivery, and reporting standards. + Participate in the hiring and training of new Mission Managers. **Qualifications:** + 7+ years of experience in program or account management within the cybersecurity, MSSP, or IT services industry. + Proven success in managing enterprise clients and driving service delivery excellence. + Strong understanding of SOC operations, cybersecurity frameworks, and managed services delivery. + Demonstrated ability to forecast, track labor and financial metrics, and manage budgets. + Experience identifying client needs and generating consultative sales opportunities. + Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. + Leadership experience managing or mentoring a team. **Key Success Metrics:** + Client satisfaction and retention rates. + Program profitability and labor utilization efficiency. + Volume and quality of upsell/expansion opportunities. + Performance and development of direct reports. + SLA/KPI adherence across supported programs. **TG Federal is actively seeking a Sr. Mission Manager to join our remote team of Cybersecurity professionals.** **Summary:** The Sr. Mission Manager is a hybrid leadership role that combines the responsibilities of a Program Manager, Account Manager, and Sales Consultant.
