We are seeking a seasoned Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, execution, and delivery of mission-critical mechanical systems for cutting-edge data center construction projects. You’ll drive performance, innovation, and reliability in cooling, HVAC, and fluid systems in one of the most fast-paced and rapidly evolving engineering spaces on the planet.

About the Role:

Develop and review detailed mechanical design and engineering documents for data center infrastructure (e.g. HVAC, CRAC/CRAH, chillers, pumps, piping)Coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure aligned executionEnsure compliance with applicable codes and standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, ISO, local regulations)Perform system calculations, energy modeling, equipment sizing, and life-cycle cost analysisProvide technical input and oversight during installation, testing, and commissioning phasesSupport value engineering efforts and suggest design optimizations focused on energy efficiency, maintainability, and scalabilityConduct field inspections and site audits to ensure quality and design adherenceParticipate in root cause analysis for mechanical system failures or performance concerns

About You:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience, including at least 3 years in data center, mission-critical, or industrial facilitiesFamiliarity with chilled water systems, air-side economizers, in-row cooling, hot/cold aisle containment, and integrated monitoring systemsKnowledge of CFD modeling and thermal performance analysis is a plusProfessional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent credential preferredComfortable leading technical meetings and mentoring junior engineers
