Roles & Responsibilities:

Will work within one of the assigned teams based on experience and business needs like Project Engineering, Industrial components design, Manifold & Interconnect, Drilling & Intervention, Rotating equipment etc. or New Product Development.Supports project engineering, new product/technology development, product improvement and product standardization, and product qualification projects depending upon the assigned groupWorks to Develop product design, geometry standards documentation and product qualification requirements under the guidance of Technical LeadersCreates, reviews/approves part reports, drawings, engineering specifications and standards.Adheres to all relevant work instructions and design guidelines clearly demonstrates creativity and innovation in finding solutions and alternatives.Develops unique solutions for complex technical problems that may include the design of new products/systems or the development of solutions having few or no precedentsThis is an individual contributor position. The role is responsible for executing activities assigned by the manager, and execute it with the assigned team with minimal guidance

Work Experience

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

Demonstrating experience in supporting engineering projects constrained by safety, quality, delivery, and cost requirements Ability to read/interpret different level of Engineering drawings (Interface/Installation, Assembly/Component etc.)Good appreciation of different Engineering materials & their properties, various manufacturing processes/methods and necessary hand calculationsExperience in engineering designs, documents, layouts, calculations (Internal and external pressure calculation, Compression, Flow area, thread calculation, material selection, tolerance stack up).Accuracy, dependability, ability to manage schedule and prioritize work for self and others in team

 

Desired Skills:

Ability to work independently and as a part of a technical team - a self-motivated, self-starter.Ability to make independent system recommendations utilizing advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English with ability to effectively transfer subject matter expertise. Ability to coach and mentor other junior engineersAbility to design complex engineering plans and review design work for systems and products

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor/Masters degree in mechanical engineering4-8 Years of experience in field of Component or System/Subsystem level detail engineering for Industrial / Oil & Gas domainsTo be able to Work with minimal guidance & complete the assigned task.Product knowledge on centrifugal compressor, Reciprocating Compressor, Gas Turbines and steam turbine (Rotating equipment) and Drill equipment, Manifolds etc.Ability to understand and implement design standards and configurationAbility to work in a global environment
