Sr. ME Engineer- Charger

Position Summary:

As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll be participating charger projects at SBD Suzhou, and working with the suppliers engineering team too. Responsibilities including qualifying Charger assemble process/fixtures/tooling at the supplier manufacture line, technical support/assessment, and maintaining 2D/3D drawings.  May have opportunities to participate in plant productivity projects too. 

Position Responsibilities:

Qualify Charger assemble process/fixtures in the supplier manufacture line.Mechanical part tooling developing and tooling transfer, and samples qualify tests.Technical support Reliability tests and compliance tests, timely addressing occurred technical issues, offering the practical solution.Mechanical part 3D and 2D drawing, product BOM and Artworks maintenance in the windchill system.

Qualifications:

Experience, preferably in charger/power supply design/development/manufacturing.At least 3 year’s work experience in product design. Mechanical major with bachelor’s degree.Have the Mechanical part design experience, familiar with the 3D and 2D drawing software.Familiar with mechanical part design criteria. Familiar with the plastic part, stamping part, and manufacturing process.Product development experience. Conduct project design to mass production related work.The Mechanical part defect analysis ability is required.Good communication skill, plus English reading and writing ability.Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.Excellent project management skills including ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyGood analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on a “hands on” approach.General knowledge in the areas of injection molding, dimensional controls, and inspection methods.Strong computer skillsStrong and persistent drive to deliver positive results.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in related engineering discipline required. At least three years of experience in product development, engineering, mechanical design, or other related field.
