Collaborating closely with talented professionals, you will concentrate on current and emerging powertrain technologies and trends that will shape the future of the industry such as the prolonged lifecycle of internal combustion engines, hybridization and hydrogen.
Job Description:
Market Analysis: Identify disruptive trends potentially impacting current or future revenue streams through desktop research, attending relevant conferences, working with external agencies and collaboration with internal experts. Analyze impact to the business and make suggestions to exploit opportunities and overcome challenges.Scenario Planning and Market Prognosis: Develop powertrain scenarios based on external analysis and trends; project potential developments, opportunities, and threats. Forecast market development via vehicle volumes and platforms. Analyze key market data including sales, inventory, production, fuel prices, etc. to inform market projections. Strategy Development: Develop strategy and inform strategic decisions with a comprehensive understanding of customer preferences, competitor actions, technological advancements, and implications of political and regulatory landscapes. “Filter through the noise” to identify what is important for internal customers in the regional divisions and central sales teams. Conduct revenue analysis and growth paths for business as well as monthly acquisition overviews.Government relations: Serve as an interface with the Bosch government relations team to understand regulations (e.g. EPA, NHTSA and CARB GHG and emissions regulations).Collaboration/Communication: Engage with stakeholders to influence decision-making processes and contribute to shaping the future of mobility at Bosch. Communicate market knowledge and strategy via defined meetings & platforms.Manage and Optimize Stakeholder Network: Drive alignment between global and regional stakeholders across Power Solutions and with corporate marketing teams.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics and Management, or Business AdministrationHigh proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, Competency in other digital tools (e.g. Power BI, Canva, etc.)5+ years’ work experience in Marketing, Sales, or Strategy and Mobility SectorStrong analytical skills including the ability to interpret and apply key dataSelf-motivated and able to effectively complete tasks2+ years of experience initiating and leading cross-functional collaborationDemonstrated project management skills to drive forward new business solutionsAdditional InformationIndefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
