Job Overview
The Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring product quality standards are met by identifying and resolving quality issues through collaboration with factory and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement and comply to Quality control plans. Perform audits, identify non-conformity and work with factory to provide corrective action plans. Monitor manufacturing processes and identify potential issues. Drive Quality at Source by investigating and resolving product and manufacturing process quality issues. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to proactively improve manufacturing quality performance Lead problem solving efforts using quality tools such as 8D, Why-Why analysis, DOEs Develop and conduct quality training for internal functions. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standardsQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in supplier quality management. Experience in areas like assembly and test processes, root cause analysis and risk assessment is highly valuable. Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing processes is often preferred. Understanding of quality control techniques, statistics, and methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams under pressure Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Strong organizational and time management skills Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred. Proficiency in quality control methodologies(e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret engineering drawingsand specifications.Company Overview:
