We seek an experienced Senior Engineer in Mechanical Engineering to join our team in Parlin, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth technical knowledge and will be responsible for managing complex tasks related to manufacturing processes while working under minimal supervision. This role may involve supervising employees and optimizing specialized processes to ensure operational excellence.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes based on quality criteria, efficiency, and speed to meet production goals.Study production and machine requirements, upgrading systems and workflows with new technologies whenever necessary.Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, maintenance staff, and contractors to organize and manage manufacturing workflows and resources effectively.Support process and manufacturing technology engineers on various projects, including small and large capital projects.Optimize facility layouts, production lines, machine operations, and network performance.Resolve day-to-day issues and production delays, implementing solutions to enhance workflow.Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maximizing quality in production processes.Train and support staff on new and existing processes, contributing to ongoing training efforts led by management.Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all manufacturing procedures.

Qualifications:

In-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in mechanical engineering or a related field, with a strong grasp of best practices.Advanced understanding of related job disciplines and how they integrate with mechanical engineering processes.Significant experience and detailed knowledge of market conditions, competitive differentiators, and internal policies and processes.Ability to interpret organizational policies and recommend improvements to specialized processes.Previous supervisory experience is preferred, guiding and prioritizing the activities of individual contributors.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to approach existing solutions from new perspectives, exercising judgment based on comprehensive analysis.Ability to work independently and mentor less experienced team members.
