Summary:
The Sr. Managing Director serves as the point person in determining the customer’s needs and meeting them through the seamless delivery of the bank's products, services and associated resources within the Consumer & Retail industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring the optimizing of all customer relationships, which entails developing revenue growth through generation and cross selling of all applicable bank products including deposits, loans, and other services in all Huntington segments to customersDevelops and maintains profitable customer relationships within a targeted market segment by coordinating all sales and service efforts within the Consumer & Retail industryResponsible for all aspects of lending including approvals, credit agreement, monitoring of covenants, etc.Responsible for developing strong relationships with clients, new business development and loan and deposit generationPerforms other duties as assignedResponsible for Consumer & Retail segment strategy, product development, and other competitive considerations.Sr MD will both develop business and lead the sales team.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree7 or more years of Commercial Banking experience within Consumer & Retail sectorExperience leading a business line preferably in the Consumer & Retail industry sectorExperience cross-selling productions and solutions in the Consumer & Retail industry, especially Treasury Management and Capital Markets.FINRA SIE and Series 79 & 63 required.Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of all bank products and continual development of product expertise.Experience growing a business line, executing strategies, optimizing talent, and lead left relationship development.Possess proficiency in credit fundamentals and is able to determine the appropriate risks on new and prospective customers and transactions so that all relationships are entirely in strategic alignment with the risk profile of the bank, including all front-end guidance.Prior experience in negotiating, structuring, and closing complex commercial loan and capital markets transactions.Strong analytical and credit skills.A high level of interpersonal and sales skills are necessary to compete effectively, present proposals to client, and recommend loan transactions to bank senior management. Ability to engage and build relationships with other leaders across the bankMBA in Finance or Accounting7 - 10 years of middle market lending experienceLegal documentation experience

Compensation Range:
$170,000.00 -$350,000.00 Annual SalaryThe compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
