Role & Required skills

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

Excellent hands on in MS Excel, Power BI , MS teams
Good Knowledge of SAFe Framework, Agile and broad ADM concepts to interact with leads.
Good Knowledge of Telecom Processes
Broad awareness of Telecom Architecture and Telecom Processes.
Awareness of TMF
Either Siebel or OSM experience in a Solution Architect role (3 to 4 years of experience in Architect)
10 to 13 years of experience
Deep technical and functional knowledge

Essence of Role – Key Accountabilities  

Production of In year and 2-5 year system roadmaps to direct planned technical upgrades, capacity uplifts, decommissioning through functional convergence (in conjunction with broader technology stack evolution), and ad-hoc patches in conjunction with Annual Q+ programme demand. This will result in measured continuous improvement for the overall ‘technical fitness’ of the Domain.  
Participation in design reviews and assurance activities throughout the Development lifecycle ensuring compliance to Domain systems capability, domain roadmaps, and technical target architecture throughout the development life cycle. 
Challenge up stream requirements and design activity to ensure a fair compromise of functional and non-functional requirements are being considered in releases to drive out of the box application strengths, infrastructure longevity to at least 18 months, and kept simple and cost effective.    
Lead and assure the Domain LLD effort for technical transformation demand being a key sign-off of technical artefacts (Low Level Design, Migration Designs, Implementation & Test Approaches, Operational Support Handover, etc.). 
Maintain system platform measures ensuring they will continue to meets business SLA’s, performance goals, and that the technical direction is consistent with strategy, principles, and design patterns. 
Being a Technical Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and functional and technical expert for the application portfolio within the domain. 
Being available to support planned releases and major incidents. 
Supporting the Domain lead in assuring and challenging supplier work package technical scope and pricing keeping on top of the use of estimation model estimation tools as agreed with Supply Chain Management.
