Roles and Responsibilities
Lead Mishap investigations and crisis management process for assigned productsConduct comprehensive safety analyses, including Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA).Identify and mitigate risks associated with aircraft systems and operations, ensuring compliance with military and aviation safety standards.Champion GE Aerospace’s Safety-first culture in all aspects of the role.Develop and implement reliability models to predict system performance and lifecycle.Analyze field data to identify trends and improve system reliability, ensuring alignment with GE Aerospace’s Quality standards.Collaborate with design teams to integrate reliability into product development processes.Support certification processes for military aircraft systems, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.Work closely with regulatory bodies and customers to meet delivery expectations while maintaining safety and quality.Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and maintenance teams to address safety and reliability concerns.Provide technical guidance and training to team members on safety and reliability principles, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or collegeMinimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineeringLegal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
