Do you want to become part of an exciting department focused on the development of the software, systems, and hardware for US Department of Defense training systems.  This team is responsible for the cybersecurity, system administration and integration on the development environments that support various training platforms in support of Collins Aerospace training platform systems such as E-2D, B-1, VH-92 and others.

Digital Technology Program Work Environment (PWE) Services is currently looking for a Senior Infrastructure Workplace Services Manager to lead the team in the development of the environments to support training platforms focused on new and exciting simulation systems and products. The candidate will also be responsible for identifying the necessary staff, facilities and equipment needed for successful execution of projects. The ideal candidate must have strong technical, leadership and organizational skills as well as project management experience and will be expected to spend a significant portion of their time in a direct technical role. The candidate should show the ability to unleash energy within a team through passion and enthusiasm and lead with energy throughout complex project activities. Building and growing the team is expected as work continues to increase in this dynamic area.  This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface with Program Managers and product leadership teams across all business units within Collins Aerospace.

What YOU will do:

Attract, develop and retain product security engineers by building a strong culture of teamwork, knowledge sharing and advancing the team’s product security skills and capabilities.

Actively addresses employee performance and development.

Assigns technical resources to work assignments.

Oversees and participate in development of engineering bids to ensure success.

Advises Value Stream Leaders for the presence of technologies in strategic product roadmaps.

Supports advancement and adoption of Collins developed security technologies into new or existing products.

Designs, develops, engineers, and implements solutions to meet DoD security requirements.

Assist Government ISSM with Risk Management Framework (RMF) Accreditation activities.

Oversee the configuration, building, deployment, and maintaining Windows/Linux operating systems environment.

Oversee configuring and maintaining servers, workstations, network devices, and printers per DoD. Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG).

Provide daily operations and systems support to personnel.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Prior Experience leading teams (Team Lead, IPTL, CPTL, Scrum Master, Product Owner, Program Engineer, Section Manager).

System or Software development background with embedded systems.

Must be able to communicate complicated and detailed technical topics to a wide range of audiences.

Qualifications we prefer:

Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and implementation

Certification for DoD IAM 8570 compliance, CompTIA Security+ CE

Previous experience integrating cybersecurity throughout the product lifecycle.

Strong teamwork orientation is a must.

Must be well organized and able to communicate effectively with engineering, leadership, and customers.

Experience leading cross-functional Agile teams to design, develop, deploy, and maintain cybersecurity solutions.

Understanding of Earned Value Management and its relationship to Agile.

Experience collaborating with other engineers and project management to plan and prioritize development activities on Agile teams.

The salary range for this role is 137,000 USD - 275,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
