To achieve this goal, Kite BU in Gilead Sciences Japan is in charge of Kite business in Japan.
Gilead Sciences Japan is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated professional capable of working effectively in a cross-functional team environment. The successful candidate will assume a full- time employment in the Kite Business Unit and report to the Product Management Brand Lead in Tokyo.
In this Kite Marketing, New Product Planning oversees the early product marketing for Kite Japan cell therapies. S/he develops commercial strategy and action plans, develops relationships with opinion leaders and develops and implements the promotional communication strategy and tactics for early products in Japanese market.
Key Responsibilities
Develop the commercial strategy and action plans for early products in Japanese market by leveraging the global and regional strategy and plansDevelop effective working relationships with opinion leaders and other key stakeholders to establish Kite’s pipeline in JapanPartner with Clinical team, Medical Affairs, Government and Public Affairs to ensure effective development and implementation of strategiesUtilize high level of business acumen in analyzing and coordinating activities from identified industry trends, competitor’s resources and practicesCollaborate with the regional marketing team to share local market insights that can inform the development of global brand plansDevelop and implement the promotional communication strategy and tactics ensuring alignment with the overall brand strategyWork alongside the global, US, EU and international marketing colleagues to develop and produce compliant promotional materialsManage external agency relationships (i.e., advertising, public relations, medical education vendors) to develop promotional deliverablesManage the marketing budget (OPEX) and project timelinesDrive excellence in commercial efforts, including business planning and forecastingEnsure all marketing activities are in compliance with regulatory and legal requirementsRequirement (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills)
Demonstrated experience within the pharmaceutical / healthcare industry to include familiarity with marketing / sales strategy and tactics, as well as commercial policies and practices within specialty careThorough understanding hematology / oncology clinical landscape and the business of cell therapyDemonstrated track record of successful product launches and / or sustained commercial growthProven ability to manage cross-functional teams with excellent interpersonal skills in order to lead, interact with, focus, resolve conflict and drive consensus among individuals from a variety of cultures and disciplinesDemonstrated ability to conceive, develop and implement multi-dimensional marketing and business plansAbility to develop, maintain and utilize a high level of product and therapeutic disease knowledge to promote the appropriate use of cell therapies to opinion leadersExcellent and demonstrable command of written and spoken English and proficiency at communicating verbally and in written formBachelor’s degreePreferred Qualifications
