**The Job:**
As an **Engineering Manager** , you will lead cross-functional teams to design, develop and launch products that align with market demands and Stanley black and Decker’s strategy. This role requires a blend of technical leadership to transform ideas into successful commercial solutions.
**You'll Get To:**
+ Partnering with global product managers to identify technical solutions, plan resource and project timeline for new product development.
+ Create and influence technical product strategy and roadmaps for assigned category or portfolio.
+ Set target deliverables, review status, hold the team accountable and help remove roadblocks.
+ Drive teams to deliver complex and/or multiple/concurrent projects of an increasing degree of technical complexity and challenges in order to meet business goals.
+ Monitor and make recommendations on engineering resource planning for short and long-term projects.
+ Identify ongoing training requirements, and ensure entire department fulfills expectations.
+ Drive local talent development to include performance management, individual and team development, and high engagement across teams.
**Required Knowledge and Skills:**
+ Demonstrated and recognized expertise in technical discipline or process in power tool field or similar industry
+ Proven ability to professionally present information and translate technical knowledge to a variety of audiences.
+ Proven leadership skills, with ability to motivate, empower and drive engagement.
+ Experience successfully communicating with and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization both locally and globally
+ Demonstrated business acumen including accounting, finance, business planning and risk management

+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required. MBA or PMP a plus
+ 10+ years’ experience of power tools or similar industry in new product development field.
+ 5+ years of engineering leadership experience with a demonstrated track record of significant performance improvement is required.
+ Fluent Oral English is a must.
