Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The Sr. Manager, Video Operations Syndication is responsible for defining, implementing, and overseeing the DNOC strategy specific to International syndication partners. This leader ensures operational readiness through effective planning, tooling and engineering support, high-quality content monitoring, and securing and developing the operational staff needed to deliver best-in-class live, linear, and VOD services.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning:

Develop and lead the staffing and tooling plan for each syndication partner, including securing necessary budgets and resources.Partner closely with DNOC leaders and team members to gain alignment and buy-in on partner roadmaps and strategic priorities.Own and manage the DNOC readiness tracker for each partner to ensure all operational requirements are fully met before launch.Establish and maintain clear communication of partner content changes (SLEs, Linear, VOD) to DNOC teams and key stakeholders.Foster regular collaboration and information sharing across DNOC Operations and Engineering teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment.Engage with partner leadership to gather strategic feedback, identify growth opportunities, and inform operational improvements.Proactively communicate risks, progress updates, and strategic roadmaps to senior internal stakeholders and executive leadership.Drive continuous improvement in operational processes, tooling, and monitoring to support efficiency, scale, and high partner satisfaction.

Qualifications7+ years of experience in operations, program management, or technical readiness—ideally within video streaming or live broadcast environments.Proven experience in video operations, content monitoring, or network operations leadership, ideally within streaming videoDemonstrated success developing and executing strategy, budgets, and staffing plans in a complex, multi-partner environment.Strong understanding of engineering for live events, content QC processes, and operational tooling best practices.Excellent cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership.Highly organized, with strong problem-solving abilities and a track record of delivering results under tight timelines.Experience fostering a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and collaboration across geographically distributed teams.

 

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
