Sr. Manager, Sales Planning Operations

As the Senior Manager,  Sales Planning Operations, you will be responsible for defining and implementing projects, processes and tools to support the expanding analytics capabilities required of the Sales Planning and Forecasting team as its topic scope expands with the expanding Lucid portfolio.

You will work closely in cross-functional teams, including product, supply chain, finance, data engineering and with global markets streamline sales planning and forecasting activities and processes required to develop, consolidate, and approve global monthly near-term, and annual long-term Lucid planning volumes. You will manage centralized tools for tracking industry and competitor market data, enabling greater usage of common data across other functions and regions. You will support the team and Lucid organization with initiatives to further enhance forecasting and market analytics capabilities with M/L or AI driven initiatives. A successful candidate in this role will enable the Sales Planning & Forecasting group to improve its analytics capabilities by leveraging the candidates industry expertise to ensure the team has up to date, relevant industry and Lucid data for forecasting and analytics.

The Role

· Definition and integration of industry data to enable improved data analytics capabilities.

· Support the team with industry and market expertise on internally-developed tools, processes, and reporting.

· Support integration of NA Lucid sales delivery forecast data with company-wide or cross-functional IT tool implementations related to S&OP and LRP.

· Define and implement initiatives to improve global integration of monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts with cross-functional teams as part of the S&OP and LRP volume planning processes

· Ensure scalability of current or newly-developed processes and tools for future portfolio growth

· Enable the team to expand data analysis and forecasting scope of growing Lucid portfolio and expanding markets and segments.

· Foster strong relationships with sales, marketing, finance, product, supply chain, and data engineering teams to ensure consistent, reliable data and drive effective decision-making.

· Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting on sales planning, forecasting and data insights’ related requests

Qualifications:

· Master’s degree in business administration, operations management, supply chain management, or a related field.

· 15+ years of proven experience in sales planning, industry forecasting, product planning, competitive intelligence or related roles in the automotive industry.

· Self-starter with continuous improvement mindset to actively identity and develop initiatives that streamline tool and process bottlenecks, improve data quality, and reduce inefficiencies.

· Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and generate actionable insights.

· Proficiency in statistical analysis tools, data visualization, forecasting software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present new solutions and analysis results to stakeholders.

· Knowledge of automotive industry dynamics, market trends, and industry data benchmarks.

· Familiarity with production planning, inventory management, and supply chain principles.

· Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
