Radionuclide Commercial Supply Manager will be playing a key/critical role by contributing to the development and execution of core strategies and growth initiatives within Cardinal Health’s Nuclear & Precision Health Solutions business, ensuring the business unit achieves its strategic and financial objectives.
Responsibilities
Sales, contracting, and reporting (50%)
Participate in the development and implementation of NPHS radionuclide vertical integration strategyMaintain a real-time awareness of radionuclide market trends, competitive actions and strategic partnerships, furthering segment and enterprise leadership’s knowledge of the market and its potential impact on their business partnership opportunitiesBD resource for all current and future radionuclide supply agreements and amendmentsProactively prospect for, develop, and maintain a pipeline of strategic radionuclide supply opportunities in collaboration with strategy, business development, operations, and the senior leadership teamDevelops and manages long-term relationships with new and existing radionuclide supply customers.Contract negotiation and development of radionuclide supply agreements including deal modeling, complex negotiations, internal/external resource matrixed management and significant project managementCoordinate financial reporting and forecasting of radionuclide demand and sales with internal stakeholders, Finance, Operations, A&R.Customer setup, ship-to’s, RAM licenses, etc.In collaboration with Operations Team manage shipping lanes with Global Trade for radionuclide imports and exportsAssist in evaluation and development of isotope back-up supply agreementsCoordination of internal and external client engagements (30%)
Respond to all external inquiries related to current and future radionuclide demand and supply agreements.Coordinate logistics for business development conferences and meetings.Track and provide internal analytical support and internal communication related to radionuclide supply, financial forecasts, and production projections.Coordinate customer communications on radionuclide supply with operations, finance and other internal stakeholders.Communicate and serve as the point contact for initial customer inquires on radionuclide supply.Continuous improvement (20%)
Assist in solution development and adaptation of existing tools and resources for the distribution, tracking, and invoicing of radionuclides covered by Cardinal Health supply agreements.Assist in evaluation for isotope back-up supply.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred 8-12 years of experienceDeep expertise in at least three departmental functions preferred: contracting, isotope supply, radiopharmaceuticals, business development, negotiation, financialsAbility to influence without authority, prior leadership experience preferredProven successful experience negotiating deals with biopharma companiesPrior experience working in a matrix environmentFinancial acumen, experience in deal modeling and back-office supportSense of urgency and desire to improve experiences for our customers and business partnersExcellent communication skills; ability to tailor communication with all levels of the organization, including executive leadershipSophisticated problem-solving skillsExperience in healthcare and radiopharmaceuticals requiredBachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office productsWhat is expected of you and others at this level
