**ABOUT THIS ROLE:**
Carrier is looking for a dynamic individual to join the Finance Transformation Management Office as Project Manager. This role will be a key team member overseeing the successful delivery and management of our Finance Transformation program. This position requires project management experience across interdependent functions, systems and processes; ensuring project delivery on time and within budget; and demonstrated ability to drive organizational change including training, communications and process optimization.
**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE:**
+ Collaboration with the team to develop project charters, plans, business cases, and procedures for accomplishing projects. Ensuring program dependencies and mitigations are highlighted and managed throughout the life of the project.
+ Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasks.
+ Aid in implementation of project communication plan.
+ Conduct project risk assessment and mitigation.
+ Monitor project activities, ensuring quality and integrity of information, while providing consistency in content across the transformation.
+ Ensure project goals are in line with business objectives and that they are achieved on time and within budget.
+ Establish standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
+ Benchmark project management performance continuously to identify the potential for improvements and increase capability in project and portfolio management.
+ Aid in driving organizational change ensuring training, communication and change management activities incorporated into project plans and executed.
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
+ Minimum 7 years’ experience in Finance, Accounting or Project Management
**Preferred QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Strong background in Finance / Accounting and project management
+ Knowledge of project management methodology and experience or familiarity with major program management approaches (for example, that of the Project Management Institute or agile approaches).
+ Knowledge of project planning / scheduling tools (for example, Microsoft Project), with a solid track record of practical application.
+ Proven ability to manage complex projects and programs, ensuring deliverables, budgets, resource allocation, and timeline adherence.
+ Ability to drive a tactical resource plan by mapping future demand to forecast project completions in the project portfolio.
+ Advanced verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex issues in a clear/concise manner across all levels of the organization.
+ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and drive change while working across all levels, function, segments, and business units.
+ Strong collaboration, conflict resolution, and communication skills, especially in complex organizational settings.
+ Experience with financial systems and process improvements.
+ Familiarity with change management principles.
+ Analytical mindset with a focus on data and performance metrics.
+ Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
