Lenovo is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Senior Manager, Global Sales Learning to lead the design and execution of comprehensive, high-impact learning that empowers our international salesforce and global partner ecosystem. This role will directly impact the success of Lenovo’s flagship portfolios from the Intelligent Devices Group, driving market growth through scalable, high-impact learning initiatives. 

In this role, you will serve as a strategic leader within Lenovo’s International Sales Organization, Learning and Development responsible for advancing global sales capability through AI-driven learning experiences, cutting-edge curriculum design, and intelligent enablement systems. You will oversee the development and deployment of scalable, role-based learning solutions that elevate the effectiveness of our internal sellers and channel partners.  

This role reports into the ISO Global Learning team and will partner closely with the ISG, SSG and Geo learning leaders to ensure alignment across business groups and geographies. This role offers high visibility across global sales leadership and a clear path for advancement within Lenovo’s L&D and enablement ecosystem. 

Key Responsibilities 

Drive the global sales learning strategy in alignment with international sales organization goals, corporate transformation initiatives, and Lenovo’s strategic business priorities. Define and track KPIs to measure learning effectiveness and business impact. 

Support the Sales Enablement Academy (SEA) by designing and delivering learning experiences—including Talk Tracks, onboarding journeys, and certification programs—aligned to SEA’s four strategic pillars: product knowledge, sales methodology, core competencies, and customer-facing messaging. 

Champion a One Lenovo mindset by integrating learning strategies across IDG, ISG, and SSG where applicable, ensuring consistency and scalability. 

Lead and develop a diverse global team including a program manager, curriculum specialist, learning experience designers, and multimedia developers. Cultivate a high-performance, innovative team culture. 

Assess the needs of the business, implement training and development plans, and facilitate a wide variety of training and certification programs that enhance the effectiveness of the global salesforce. 

Lead the development of sales training including the production of digital learning focused on understanding and selling Lenovo’s family of intelligent device products and solutions such as AI PC, Workstation AI, Smart Collaboration, Security, Services, and Education solutions. 

Lead the end-to-end creation and continuous improvement of global sales learning programs, including certifications, onboarding, product/solution training, and technical sales learning. Ensure alignment to Lenovo’s go-to-market approach and vertical-specific needs 

Collaborate with the ISO Learning Operations & Technology team to ensure seamless delivery, platform integration, and regional adaptation of global programs. 

Oversee budget management, vendor relationships, and operational planning. Manage funding recovery models and align global investments to maximize ROI. 

Ensure global consistency in learning experiences while allowing for local adaptation. Establish best practices, learning standards, and compliance across geographies. 

Basic Qualifications 

Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, adult learning, business, or a related field 

7+ years in sales training, enablement, or L&D with at least 3+ years in a leadership role 

Proven experience managing global learning programs and diverse teams across regions 

3+ years of proven experience managing, coaching, leading, and developing colleagues 


Preferred Qualifications 

Master’s degree in instructional design, organizational development, or business 

Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills 

Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and collaborate cross-functionally 

Strong communication skills, with ability to synthesize complex ideas into compelling narratives

Proven budget ownership and ability to manage recoveries and shared-service models 

Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, complemented with creative thinking 

Comfortable working in a fast-growing environment, while adapting to and introducing change 

Ability to build relationships and to influence others to get results  

Deep understanding of instructional design principles, sales methodologies (consultative/solution selling), and adult learning theory 

Experience in a large, matrixed global technology company 

Familiarity with Lenovo’s product and solution portfolio (IDG, ISG, SSG) 

Experience driving digital transformation within a learning or enablement function 

Experience with Generative AI, AI learning tools, and Agentic AI 

Expertise in analytics and reporting to inform learning strategies
