Sr. Manager, CX Licensing Operations

Working as part of the CX Operations and Insights team as Ping’s Licensing Manager you will manage a team of Licensing Specialists. The team's priorities are to manage   software assets, ensure compliance, and optimize Ping’s licensing strategy. They input and maintain entitlement records, facilitate software onboarding and manage audits and renewals. They also provide expert guidance on licensing solutions to internal teams, partners, and customers. The licensing process at Ping is about to undergo a transformation and as the Team Manager you will play a key role in helping design the future of licensing and lead on the implementation of the new design and process. 

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership:

You will help build and lead a global team of Licensing Coordinators who will continue to operate licensing entitlements and provisioning whilst as the leader you will be responsible for the transformation of Licensing and launching it in its new form. 

Managing Software Assets: The team will track software licenses, usage rights, and contractual entitlements for Ping products. 

Ensuring Compliance: You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with software licensing agreements and identifying and mitigating any risks associated with software usage. 

Optimizing Licensing: You will develop and implement strategies to optimize software licensing, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with business stakeholders needs. 

Facilitating Audits: The team will support software audits, ensuring accurate documentation and providing necessary information to auditors. 

Licensing Management: You will work with Sales and Renewals on software renewals, ensuring contracts are accurate and up-to-date. 

Stakeholder Management:You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including Sales, Customer Success, Renewals, IT teams, business leaders, and CX, to ensure alignment on licensing strategies. 

Providing Expert Guidance:You will offer consultancy on software licensing models, packages, strategies, and solutions to internal teams. 

Maintaining Records and Documentation:You will document the standard operating procedure as it is today then build out a new process increasing efficiency and reducing risk. Whilst keeping accurate records of software licenses, contracts, and audit results. 

Essential Skills:

Strong understanding of software licensing models and agreements. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in IT and relevant software tools. Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks related to software licensing. Experience with Salesforce and Service Cloud. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to adapt to changing technologies and licensing models. 

You have:

8+ years of experience in a leadership role and creating new teams. 8+ years experience with Salesforce or similar CRM solutions. Experience of transforming existing processes and strategies into more lean and effective solutions.  Has worked within a SaaS industry for 5+ years  Experience with automating existing processes and workflows Experience facilitating requirements gathering meetings with internal stakeholders. Passion for simplification and transformation within a Services industry Excellent analytical / problem solving skills 

Salary Range: $137,000 - $163,000

In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
