Job Description
This is a NonExempt position where hours over 40 will be compensated at Time and a Half. The role involves performing tasks similar to those of a Lab Tech Sr. on the 3rd shift, requiring a bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field, with previous lab experience preferred.
ResponsibilitiesRead, understand, and follow written Standard Operating Procedures.Correctly identify analyzed samples and verify the accuracy of sequence for each batch.Process acquired instrument data and generate appropriate reports.Conduct the first review of GC/MS and/or LC/MS/MS analytical data according to each assay SOP.Transcribe or upload results to the Laboratory Information System for final review and certification.Maintain proper and adequate Chain of Custody batch documentation.Communicate effectively with supervisors and promptly escalate emerging challenges.Maintain and promote a safe and healthful environment for self and co-workers.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, or a related field.At least one year of experience working in an analytical lab.Ability to work safely with biological specimens, chemicals, equipment, and instruments.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious lab experience is preferred.Work Environment
The position is on the 3rd shift, requiring the ability to work with biological specimens, chemicals, and laboratory equipment in a safe and responsible manner. The role involves adhering to a professional dress code and maintaining a healthful environment for all team members.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr.
