As a Senior IT Technician, you will be a critical part of IT operations, responsible for the deployment, support, and maintenance of technology assets at your assigned facility. You will act as the primary IT contact for the site, ensuring systems run smoothly and securely, while maintaining alignment with global IT standards and service level agreements (SLAs). This role bridges the gap between the Global IT Service Desk and local operations, delivering exceptional technical support and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Site Leadership & Ownership
+ Serve as the primary IT representative for your assigned location.
+ Manage all aspects of IT operations, including device lifecycle, user support, infrastructure health, and IT room upkeep.
+ Communicate key updates and escalations to local leadership and global IT teams.
Customer Service & Communication
+ Build trust with stakeholders by demonstrating professionalism, responsiveness, and technical competence.
+ Understand and address user challenges, escalating issues when necessary and ensuring resolution within SLA parameters.
+ Provide feedback to IT teams to improve service delivery and user experience.
Team Collaboration & Contribution
+ Partner with IT and project teams to meet quality standards, control costs, and deliver on timelines.
+ Thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing attention to detail with a results-driven mindset.
+ Collaborate effectively with remote service desk personnel and cross-functional teams.
Advanced Technical Support
+ Provide Tier 2/3 support and serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
+ Maintain and troubleshoot network, server, and cloud infrastructure in coordination with specialized IT teams.
+ Ensure datacenters and network closets meet organizational standards for cleanliness, security, and performance.
Qualifications
+ Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft operating systems and applications.
+ Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, and Active Directory.
+ Hands-on experience with computer hardware, mobile devices, and peripherals.
+ Proven ability to maintain on-premises datacenter equipment and structured cabling.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage both manufacturing and corporate personnel.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
