Sr. IT Project Manager

LRS Consulting Services is seeking multiple Senior IT Project Managers for a 6-month contract with our client in Central Illinois or Kentucky. Local candidates are preferred.

What You’ll Do:

Lead enterprise-level and key strategic projects from initiation through closureBuild and manage project schedules, resources, dependencies, and estimatesEvaluate and adjust scope, timeline, and budget across Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologiesIdentify risks and blockers, and implement mitigation and resolution strategiesUse project documentation and lessons learned to drive continuous improvementMentor and coach team members to ensure clarity, accountability, and ownershipEngage with stakeholders to align project goals with business objectivesProvide thought leadership in project management and champion best practicesInfluence outcomes through strong leadership and communication

What We’re Looking For:

7+ years of experience managing complex IT projects across large enterprise environmentsProven ability to deliver projects end-to-end: scoping, scheduling, leading, and closingExperience in application-heavy environments (MS Dynamics, OpenText, Cognos, Hyperion, IBM apps, Timekeeping/Attendance systems, etc.)Familiarity with supporting, maintaining, and modernizing enterprise applicationsDeep understanding of project management tools, frameworks, and governance (RAIDD, etc.)Proven success managing across Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologiesExperience working with third-party vendors and leading project issue resolutionStrong Organizational Change Management skills, including stakeholder engagement and communication planningKnowledge of PMP principles and fundamentals (PMP certification preferred)Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus, but not required

Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
