The Senior IT Project Manager role will lead, oversee and ensure the successful delivery of transformation projects by managing scope, quality, time and cost constraints that may be clearly defined or may require dynamic change management.
This role will lead multiple projects in at least two critical domains:
+ IT Infrastructure & Operations
+ Information Security
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
+ Lead and take end-to-end ownership of multiple simultaneous critical projects
+ Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasks.
+ Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project duration and work with project staff to outline work plan.
+ Implement project communication plan to ensure regular communication with stakeholders at all levels, including facilitation of Steering Committee Meetings with senior leadership
+ Perform risk assessment and implement mitigation plans.
+ Monitor project activities and ensure that project goals are accomplished and are in line with IT/business objectives.
+ Direct and coordinate activities of project team members to ensure that the project progresses on schedule and within budget.
+ Establish standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
+ Continuously benchmark project management performance to identify improvements and achieve higher capability maturity in project and portfolio management
+ Manage on-and offshore vendor resources and relationships for day-to-day project activities.
+ Control and manage project budgets.
EDUCATION:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field
+ Project Management Professional (PMP)
MANAGEMENT:
+ This role does not have direct reports but will provide technical leadership and mentorship to peers and cross-functional teams.
QUALIFICATIONS:
+ 10+ years of project management experience, collaborating with business and IT teams to deliver on-time, on-budget solutions.
+ Proven ability to manage a $4M+ project portfolio, driving efficiency and strategic alignment.
+ Strong leadership, influencing, and negotiation skills, partnering with technical teams and senior business leaders.
+ Expertise in PM methodologies (PMI, Prince II, Agile) and project-planning tools.
+ Skilled in navigating political environments and stakeholder dynamics, including global project management.
+ Exceptional communication, crafting tailored messaging for executives and technical teams.
+ In-depth knowledge of IT Infrastructure, IT Operations, and Information Security.
The expected salary range for this position is $134-147k annually. Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws
