The Sr. IT Engineer 1 is responsible for the support and operation of all IT network infrastructure for the new Holly Springs greenfield site. The engineer will also liaise with Global IT teams to ensure a fit-for-purpose network architecture scaled for a large manufacturing plant. This role functions as a local extension of the Global IT team reporting into the Sr. Director - IT. This role ensures local implementation and support in alignment with global IT processes.

Leverages architecture and detailed design from similar FUJIFILM project in Denmark, including aligning on a Cisco SDA implementationSupports the installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure systems and networks at the facilityProvides technical support for systems, network infrastructure, and other IT related assetsWorks on network infrastructure to deliver business and technology solutions from data, security, mobility, and cloudAssists with vendor coordination as it relates to the networkInterfaces with the IT/OT and I&C teams for coordination and integration of the networkManages hardware/software change controls in a regulated environmentPerforms Incident management and daily support of the network infrastructurePerforms role and responsibilities to develop and evolve as the project group expandsParticipates in on call support rotation, once required to support CQV and operational activitiesPerforms other duties as assigned.Knowledge and Skills

High School Diploma /GED with 9 years of experience in computer information systems (CIS), Applied Science, or related fieldBachelor’s degree in computer science, Applied Science, or related field with 5 years’ experience in applicable industry. ORMaster’s degree in in computer science, Applied Science, or related field with 3 years’ experience in applicable industry.Experience and advanced understanding of Cisco hardware, software, protocols, etc.Experience with installation and maintenance of firewallsExperience with data centers and network installationExperience to support physical implementation and network support, i.e. racking, stacking etc.Preferred Requirements
Experience in a GMP manufacturing environmentExperience with Palo Alto firewall Relevant technical certifications ( Cisco, Microsoft, etc.)
