We are hring for a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for a position supporting a federal law enforcement agency. This posiiton requiers an Active Top Secret security clearance to be considered.
Responsibilities
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Information Security Officer with 6+ years of experience that will support the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of a life-cycle security model that develops, maintains, and dispositions of the customer. The ISSO will be a focal point coordinating with system owners to ensure systems are operated and maintained in accordance with security policies and practices and reports all information system security incidents through the appropriate customer channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform as Team Lead or Senior Subject Matter Expert within Project Scope within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)If assigned as Team Lead, empower your security team to consistently operate at peak performance, fostering a high-functioning, results-driven environmentEnsure information protection meets mission and business needsSupport the selection of applicable security controls and best practicesDesign and collaborate on system security architectureDefine and allocate system security requirements across componentsPerform vulnerability and risk assessment for certification and accreditationEvaluate security solutions for compliance with classified data handlingDevelop and update system security plans and related IA documentationMaintain operational security posture and day-to-day security operationsAdminister user identification and authentication mechanismsManage changes and assess security impact of system updatesProvide configuration and change management for security-relevant componentsAssist with determining security authorization boundaries per FBI/NIST RMFMap security requirements to system elements for lifecycle support and acquisitionDevelop detailed security designs including trade-off analysisPropose, implement, and enforce information security policies and standardsSupport security authorization activities (e.g. C&A, RMF compliance)Prepare and maintain required documentation (SSP, Project Plans, Release Trains, etc.)Track and maintain records of hardware/software/network security assetsAssist with evaluating and integrating security solutionsDevelop system security policy and ensure ongoing complianceTechnical Experience or Knowledge
