Position Summary
The incumbent must be results driven to business needs, the employee experience, and governmental compliance. Provides HR partnership to optimize people, structure, process and culture, with the goal of achieving business results. Understands the facility organizational structure as well as knowledge of federal and location/country/region laws and labor practices. Scope of position will include a wide range of difficult problems that requires strong discretionary skills.

Standard Duties:
Demonstrates mid- advance career level knowledge of principles, practices and procedures in areas such as recruitment, employee and/or labor relations, workers compensation, payroll, compensation and benefits, and managing business partnerships with cross-functional groups. Provide excellent employee customer service and follow up with the expectation of 24 hour follow up.Partner with Safety on incident investigation from initial claim to a resolution.Strong focus on employee relations, staffing and recruitment for area responsibility.Strong focus on applying and operating within the BorgWarner Beliefs.Facilitates a collaborative environment and implements appropriate change management initiatives.Provides customer service to support the business through the consistent application of HR policies, recruitment strategies, performance management, data analysis, team progress and taking initiative on challenging assignments.Being an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment.Manage high volume workload and not be afraid to "roll up your sleeves".Understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures for continual improvement in business objectives, productivity and development.Provide a true, hands-on approach and successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement.50/50 split between HR office and HR desk location on manufacturing floor.Support multiple employee groups including off shift employees.Ability to partner with groups to reduce turnover, build employee relations and drive employee engagement.Additional Information:
Travel is occasionally required, up to 5% of the time.Safety and Physical Requirements:

Education & Experience
