Sr. HR Generalist
**Sr. HR Generalist** _Work Mode: Hybrid_ **Location: ** Onsite - Kohler, Wisconsin **Opportunity** We are seeking a proactive and strategic Sr. Human Resources Generalist to join Kohler supporting the Operations and Supply Chain division. The Sr. HR Generalist will serve as a key liaison for the KBA Supply Chain, Production Planning and EHS Teams, developing and implementing HR initiatives and programs that align with the division’s goals and objectives, ensuring a positive workplace culture, and fostering employee engagement and development. Supply Chain & Production Planning Support + Serve as the primary HR partner to Supply Chain and Production Planning leaders, advising on workforce planning, organizational priorities, and operational challenges. + Collaborate on strategies for talent development, organizational design, and process improvements that drive efficiency and scalability. + Support strategic initiatives and leadership development across Supply Chain and Production Planning. Employee Relations + Investigate and address attendance and performance-related concerns of all ANE and exempt associates with department leadership for assigned groups; escalate to the ofDirector of Human Resources for KBA Supply Chain, Production Planning and EHS, as necessary. + Escalate complex employee relations matters, including but not limited to harassment, bullying, discrimination, retaliation, and violence to the Employee Relations Manager and/or Security for investigation. + Support conflict resolution and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policy. + Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture. HR Compliance & Recordkeeping + Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. + Assist with audits and reporting requirements. Recruitment & Onboarding + Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies to attract top talent. + Work with Recruiting to coordinate and execute recruitment efforts for ANE and exempt-level positions. + Own the requisition submission process and follow-up with Recruiting and hiring managers on approvals and tracking. + Work with department leaders to design effective, interactive onboarding and integration plans for ANE and exempt-level staff. Training & Development + Coordinate training programs for safety, compliance, and skill development with HR + Leadership and Learning & Development. + Capture attendance at all training and related events. + Supports HR Leadership & Operational leadership development initiatives. + Ensures that Talent Cards are completed for all Exempt and ANE associates within the groups that they support; assists with closing competency gaps. + Support succession planning initiatives to ensure a pipeline of talent for key positions. Safety & Wellness + Partners with EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) to promote workplace safety and minimize recordables. Performance Management + Ensures the completion of all performance reviews (MaxP’s) by all associates in their assigned groups; provides updates to the Director of Human Resources for KBNA Supply Chain, Production Planning and EHS as required. + Leads calibration sessions as requested by HR Leadership.Guides managers on performance-related issues and attendance issues. Employee Engagement + Encourages and communicates the importance of the annual GLINT Employee + Engagement Survey to all associates. + Works with department leadership on the development and implementation of action plans. + Runs and analyzes reports from Workhuman on employee recognition that have been issued, including providing trends and total costs. + Monitors trends in each focus area of the survey. + Assists with the administration of any Pulse Survey administered. Data Analysis and Reporting: + Utilize HR metrics and analytics to drive decision-making and identify trends related to employee engagement, turnover, and performance. + Utilization of Power BI and Visier to analyze employment-related trends and/or metrics and provide recommendations. **Skills/Requirements** + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred or the equivalent of five years or more working as a Human Resources professional. + Significant HR experience within manufacturing and operations environments, with a strong understanding of supply chain processes and talent pathways. + Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders as a trusted advisor and thought partner, influencing strategy and decision-making. + Proven ability to design and implement HR processes that drive consistency, scalability, and alignment with business objectives. + Knowledge of HR laws and regulations (Title VII, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, etc.). + Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with SAP preferred. + Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. + Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. + Effective ability to continuously multitask. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
