Sr. HR Generalist
A Day in Your Life at MKS: As a Senior HR Generalist, you will partner with management to implement corporate policies, support organizational development, and drive employee engagement. You are a strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills and a minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources. The position is based in Queretaro, MX and reports to the HR Manager. You Make an Impact By: + Works closely with management in the implementation of corporate policies related to human resources, organizational and employee development at the business unit or division level. + Consults with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues, attempting to resolve employee relations issues with a systematic approach Participates in company-wide programs and initiatives + Assists management in the development of solutions through organizational development and cultural and process-oriented perspectives + Partner with MSD Operations and Global Supply Chain teams to deliver HR services both global and local initiatives. + Recruit and onboard new employees, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements, direct labor and interims. + Maintain accurate employee records in Workday and manage documentation processes. + Support training and development programs, including tracking training plans. + Coordinate employee engagement activities and internal communications. + Record incidences Asist on employee compensation and benefits administration. + Ensure compliance with labor regulations and internal quality, safety, and environmental standards. + Collaborate with universities to support internship and residency programs. + Prepare HR reports including headcount and staffing metrics. + Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries and support. Skills You Bring: + Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field. + Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in HR generalist roles. + Experience in staffing, employee relations, and HR compliance. + Proficiency in managing confidential information and employee files. + Strong results-oriented approach and problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. + Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis and problem-solving. Preferred Skills: + Experience with Workday HRIS. + Knowledge of IMSS and ISR local Mexico regulations. + English language proficiency. + Understanding of local benefits and financial responsibilities.
