Our International Expansion program is committed to transforming the depth, scale, and reach of our Ads offering worldwide. The environment is very fast-paced, and requires someone who is highly enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with multiple teams across multiple locales. Amazon is seeking an experienced digital sales or brand leader who will accelerate our International Ads footprint with a focus on scaling performance advertising. The successful candidate will act as the primary owner for driving sponsored ads revenue and penetration in MX. In addition, this individual will define and deliver a comprehensive Go-to-Market approach to improve the pace and feature set for Amazon Ads’ global expansion, ultimately creating new advertising programs that can delight both our customers and advertisers alike.
Location: Mexico City.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and execute a customer-led GTM approach for International Expansion growth with a focus on performance media.
- Accelerate the post-launch revenue generation of sponsored ads in MX, in collaboration with existing International Expansion go-to-market and product resources.
- Partner with internal performance ads product teams to align product, country, and regional level goals, across revenue, gap resolution, and feature parity.
- Act as a centralized resource for in-locale teams to highlight performance ads issues. Work with product teams to relay voice-of-customer feedback and accelerate new feature development and delivery.
- Partner with Ads Finance and Business teams to build regional revenue targets, ramp curves, and forward looking revenue management plans.
- Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences.
- Work with business leaders from product groups to analyze market data to identify trends/opportunities, utilize network of relationships with the relevant industry to gather market intelligence, and ensure solutions include plans for metrics analysis, technical specifications, development, testing, and launch efforts.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
