We are currently seeking a Sr. Global Supply Manager supporting the Autonomous Driving commodity. The Sr. Global Supply Manager will manage all company business with a group of suppliers and is the key internal interface with Engineering, Finance, Logistics, Quality, Manufacturing, and Marketing to deliver world class products on-time and cost-effectively. The Sr. Global Supply Manager must identify, develop, and manage the global Supply Chain. They will help establish our global supply chain strategy, support cross-functional teams during the development and industrialization phases, and drive sound business decisions throughout the product life cycle.
You will:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify potential suppliers with the right qualifications to meet Lucid’s expectations and timeline Create sourcing strategies and develop sound business cases balancing cost, quality, lead time, and technical considerations. Thoroughly negotiate favorable contracts including parts pricing, tooling costs, and Engineering Services (NRE / EDT). Analyze the landscape and market trends of the autonomous driving industry to ensure a best-in-class product. Influence the direction of the Autonomous Driving commodity by engaging with Engineering, Finance, and Marketing. Manage projects/commodities cradle-to-grave, from sourcing to development to production, in support of all Lucid vehicle programs. Maintain overall supplier relationships and act as point of contact for all commercial issues. Travel 10-15% to visit suppliers to perform business and program reviewsYou Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering or related field strongly preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree; MBA or Masters is a plus. 5+ years Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Engineering experience in the automotive industry, preferably with experience in one or more of the following technologies: Autonomous Driving/ADAS, radars, cameras, PCBAs, ECUs, advanced electronics. Enthusiasm and curiosity for understanding the ADAS market, both current and future developments. Product launch experience preferred with a high emphasis on knowledge of quality principles, product development processes, and data analysis. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ranging from the working level to the C-suite. Strong interpersonal skills, with a team-first mindset that creates a vibrant, cohesive environment to help resolve problems, cascade best practices, and deliver optimal results. Ability to navigate and to thrive in ambiguous work environments. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Passion for results, strategy, and sense of ownership that leads to effective hand-on execution. Creative, calculated risk taker with the ability to manage complex suppliers, mitigate unforeseen problems, and resolve disputes while preserving relationships with suppliers and internal staff.
