As part of the AI and Automation team, the Gen AI Python Developer will be responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining artificial intelligence tools that will assist with Cognizant Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) service operations. **Job Title: Sr. Gen AI Python Developer** **Role: Individual Contributor External Facing Role** **Essential Functions:** · Develop and implement AI applications and tools to automate and streamline RCM processes · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems · Deploy and maintain production-grade AI tools ensuring high performance and scalability · Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies **Qualifications** : **Education** : Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field: A strong educational background to support technical expertise. **Required Experience:** · At least 5 years of experience in software development with a strong proficiency in Python programming, object-oriented frameworks, and the entire software development lifecycle · Prior experience in AI, with a minimum of 1 year focused specifically on Generative AI · At least 1 year of hands-on experience interfacing with and leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) · Proven track record of implementing at least 1 production-grade Generative AI solution, such as a conversational chatbot utilizing large language models at the enterprise level · Experience with one or more Azure OpenAI models, Google Gemini model variants, Langchain, or similar application development libraries · General understanding of Generative AI models, concepts, capabilities, and usage patterns, including retrieval augmented generation, chunking, finetuning, and agentic frameworks **Desired Experience:** · Experience in healthcare enterprise transformation · Healthcare provider experience is a plus · Azure experience is a plus **Behavioral Competencies:** · Strong problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze complex problems, identify solutions, and implement them effectively. · Excellent communication skills: Ability to clearly and effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. **Technical Competencies:** Python, LangChain, LangGraph, Azure, Github **Salary and Other Compensation:** Applicants will be accepted till 7/27/2025 The annual salary for this position will depend on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
