Trane Technologies is hiring a Senior Focus Factory Manager of Operations in Noblesville, IN. The Sr. Focus Factory Manger provides direction to salaried and hourly production and support staff employees in a manufacturing and assembly environment. Plans and assigns work, enforces policies and procedures and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions. Accountable for driving higher standards of excellence in manufacturing high quality products in a safe manner while assuring cost-efficient products and on-time delivery to customers, and for maintaining an environment of positive employee relations in a team environment.

What you will do:
Responsible for the Cold Storage Assembly end-to-end value stream as well as multi-shift operation(s) Develops a manufacturing plan and establishes procedures for maintaining high standards of manufacturing operations to ensure that products conform to established customer and company quality standards.Coaches production managers / leaders on manpower planning and achieving optimum efficiencies with least amount of overhead and raw material costs to meet the annual budgetary plan.Drives improves of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost through leader standard work, leading Gemba / MDI for continuously improving performance. Coaches the team to gather data, helps analyze them for better problem solvingIdentifies, recommends and implements changes to improve productivity and reduce cost and scrap, monitor scrap and rework data. Directs the establishment, implementation and maintenance of production standards.Hires, trains, evaluates, develops staff. Ensures an engaging and motivating team environment is maintained, participates with the local leadership team in all programs developed to improve the existing cultureCoordinates SIOP forecast and PSI to build product, maintain inventory levels, and foster teamwork to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement strategic objectives.Prioritizes safety culture, and employee engagement in creating a safe work environment, first.Improves processes and policies in support of organizational goals.Participates and coordinates the manufacturing aspects of new product releases and gate reviewsParticipates on the Product Growth Team (PGT) to align Product Management, Engineering and Operations strategic initiatives and long-range planning.Builds and maintains a highly motivated, knowledgeable, and skilled workforce and provide staff development as required.Leads Lean transformation, within cross-functional teams.Manage/schedule the fabrication department using a Kanban replenishment systemOther duties as assigned.What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or other applicable field requiredDemonstrated leadership abilityMinimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a supervisory roleStrong lean background with knowledge of strategic A3 thinking will be preferredKnowledge of lean manufacturing tools a plus; Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification preferredStrong knowledge of Lean manufacturing methodology.Evidence of cost reduction/product improvement initiatives.Proven ability to implement quality process systems to improve productivity and product performance.Ability to exercise influence, build teams and forge relationships with subordinates, superiors and peers at all levels.Skilled in developing, implementing and maintaining superior EHS standards.Experience with information systems and shop floor controls.Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $110,000 - $160,000
Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan.
