Job Description As a Senior Firewall Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of Palo Alto firewall solutions across a large enterprise network. Youll work closely with network and security teams to ensure secure and efficient traffic flow, manage firewall policies, and troubleshoot complex issues. Your day will involve hands-on configuration, change management, and documentation, as well as occasional travel to local and national sites. Youll also contribute to automation efforts and help optimize existing firewall rules and policies to align with best practices. Skills and Requirements Expert-level experience with Palo Alto firewalls Proven hands-on technical implementation of firewall solutions Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to work in a large, fast-paced enterprise environment Familiarity with and adherence to formal change control processes Experience with Prisma and GlobalProtect Familiarity with multi-vsys virtualization Knowledge of OSPF, BGP, and multicast routing protocols Understanding of asymmetrical routing and vwire topologies Proficiency with Panorama, Firemon, and Expedition tool Experience with application override rules and policy optimizer Ability to manage parent/child firewall rules Scripting experience for automating firewall rule changes Experience managing 150+ firewalls in a large-scale environment Deep understanding of App-ID and User-ID technologies null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
