Position Overview Robert Half is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our client’s growing finance team in Overland Park, KS. In this role, you will utilize your analytical expertise and knowledge of business intelligence (BI) tools to help the organization make informed financial decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a data-oriented mindset, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities Analyze large datasets to identify trends, support forecasting, and optimize financial decision-making. Develop and maintain KPI dashboards, visualizations, and reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver insights that inform strategic planning. Perform variance analysis, profitability assessments, and data modeling to drive business recommendations. Streamline data collection processes and improve data accuracy and integrity. Monitor financial performance and provide crucial insights to executive teams. Stay up-to-date with emerging BI technologies, financial analytics software, and industry trends. Preferred Skills Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and predictive analytics. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Demonstrated ability to automate workflows and reports using BI systems. Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, CBIP) preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, business intelligence, or a related role in finance/accounting. Proficiency with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or QlikSense, and familiarity with SQL or relational databases. Advanced knowledge of Excel; VBA skills a plus. Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration and explaining complex financial data visually and verbally. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to shifting priorities, and meet deadlines effectively.
