Sr. Financial Analyst
Description We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to play a pivotal role in driving financial planning and analysis initiatives. This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong attention to detail who can leverage data to deliver meaningful insights, identify opportunities, and support strategic decision-making across the organization. Based in Columbus, Indiana, this role offers the chance to collaborate with multiple teams and contribute to the company's financial success. Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain robust financial models to forecast performance and cash flows under various scenarios. • Prepare and coordinate detailed financial analyses, including capital expenditure returns, rate of return calculations, and comparisons of actual versus projected outcomes. • Analyze trends and provide forward-looking insights into manufacturing, sales, and general business conditions. • Present financial data and trends to diverse audiences in a clear and impactful manner. • Deliver detailed reporting and perform ad hoc analyses to support business needs. • Build strong relationships across departments to explain financial results and identify opportunities for improvement. • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance reporting and data organization to drive actionable changes. • Collaborate with leadership and management teams to support strategic initiatives and execution plans. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP& A). • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong skills in PowerPoint. • Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve complex problems. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization. • Self-motivated and intellectually curious, with a passion for uncovering opportunities and driving improvement. • Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Microsoft SQL, ERP systems, and data mining techniques.
