Sr. Financial Analyst
A large law firm is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their finance department. This position reports to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and will work closely with department heads and other administrative managers to understand analytical needs and deliver high quality financial analysis. This position is available as a hybrid work schedule in one of the following cities: New York City, Boston, Washington, D.C., Seattle, San Francisco, Palo Alto, or Los Angeles. This resource will generate and present data analysis for various meetings held throughout the year for the Board of Directors, Members, and Department Heads. The focus of these presentations varies, and each requires thoughtful analysis of topics of concern. Other duties include the below:

-Develop Power BI / Power App based profitability dashboards and financial reports and manage functionality once they are in production
-Strategic ad-hoc analysis at the timekeeper, matter, and client levels for various Department Heads, Chiefs, and Senior Managers to highlight financial strengths and weaknesses
-Prepare annual and quarterly industry surveys which track financial performance
-Ownership of annual budget process for various departments (this includes variance tracking and communicating deviations or outliers to departments heads)
-Proactively recommend and manage the implementation of process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of reporting, planning processes, and systems
-Perform related duties as assigned or directed by supervisor from time to time
-Maintain compliance with all firm policies and procedures
