As a Sr. Financial Analyst – Budget & Planning, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping the financial future of Hill’s Pet Nutrition. You’ll provide critical financial planning and analysis to our US Brand, partnering directly with the Revenue Growth Management (RGM) team and cross-functional leaders. Your expertise will be instrumental in budgeting, month-end closing, and driving RGM initiatives that fuel profitable growth and operational excellence.

**What You’ll Do:**
+ **Strategic Financial Planning** (30%)
+ Spearhead the financial planning process for the Hill’s business, including Brand P&L, Gross to Net and Advertising & Promotion spend optimization, ROI analysis, and new product launch assessments.
+ **Accounting & Month-End Excellence** (30%)
+ Oversee recurring financial operations such as month-end closing, variance analysis, accruals, and spend optimization—delivering actionable insights and ensuring financial integrity.
+ **Business Partnership** (20%)
+ Develop and maintain strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for revenue growth and efficiency improvements, becoming a trusted advisor to the business.
+ **Internal Controls & Special Projects** (20%)
+ Champion internal controls and compliance while driving special projects that support business transformation and continuous improvement.

**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance related discipline
+ 3+ years of experience in a finance environment
+ Proficient/Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ MBA/CPA preferred
+ SAP proficiency
+ Advanced user knowledge in Excel, Google Sheets is an advantage
+ Proficient with digital tools such as DOMO, Sigma, Snowflake and other reporting tools.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
**Compensation and Benefits**
Salary Range $94,000.00 - $133,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
