Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and meticulous Finance Manager to join the Transplant Diagnostics (TDX) division. This role is ideally suited for a finance professional who thrives in a data-driven environment and is energized by delivering high-impact financial reporting to support executive decision-making.

 

This is not a traditional strategic finance role—it is reporting-intensive, requiring strong execution in preparing and managing core financial deliverables such as corporate reporting packages, monthly business reviews (MBRs), quarterly business reviews (QBRs), annual operating plan (AOP) and ad-hoc reporting requests. Candidates who find satisfaction in turning complex data into clear business insights, and who have a passion for structured reporting and performance measurements, will thrive in this position.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide timely and insightful reporting to the leadership and partners to ensure important business issues are communicated and acted upon in a timely manner.

Facilitate the preparation and consolidation of the annual strategic plan, annual budget, monthly forecasts, and monthly results analyses.

Proactively analyze data trends to make and drive improvements with the finance leadership team.

Communicate business issues to senior management and propose actions.

Offer analytical and proactive business assessment information to make sound business decisions, such as product line profitability and investment trade-offs.

Drive continuous improvement and standardization in reporting within the Division. Understand key divisional operating metrics and measure performance to the established metrics.

Establish effective working relationships with divisional finance leaders and FP&A teams, site controllers, and business leaders.

Job Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required; an MBA is a plus.

5+ years of experience in management and mentorship to lead, coach, and guide their team while being capable of completing tasks as needed.

5+ years of finance experience that includes planning, forecasting, budgeting, modeling; experience as finance partner in a manufacturing environment a plus.

Solid understanding of Excel, SQL, Cognos reporting tool, PowerPoint, and Hyperion Financial Management.

Critical attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of identifying and addressing issues concisely and succinctly.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $130,000.00–$210,000.00.
