The Sr. Facilities Engineer II is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities concerned with design, construction, modification, and maintenance of utilities, HVAC and compress air systems in industrial plant by directly performing duties listed under “Essential Duties and Responsibilities” section. Ensures full compliance with the company's policies and objectives in all matters related to Facilities Maintenance, including equipment, utilities, and contract.
The position also plans, leads and executes Integra Puerto Rico Sites strategic and business continuity infrastructure and capital initiatives, including design, construction and validation projects management, future state planning/execution initiatives and supporting the introduction of new products and processes, assuring that all architectural, civil, electrical, fire protection and mechanical trades are adequately designed and implemented. The position supports/leads Plant Engineering Projects, as needed. Project Management scope covers, among others, Infrastructure, Equipment, Regulatory/Compliance (CAPA’s/NCR’s/Oracle System), Security, Utilities Validation and Cost Improvement. This position manages Integra Añasco Capital Plan, promoting that scheduled projects are completed on a timely basis and within assigned funds.
This position maintains all Integra facilities design and construction documents and assures that all changes are adequately documented.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Introduction of new products, equipment and processes, assuring that all architectural, civil, electrical, fire protection and mechanical trades are adequately designed and implemented.Manages and executes Facilities NCR's and CAPA investigations. Represent the Infrastructure area at internal and external agencies audits.Develops or supports the development of Facilities & Infrastructure budget (Spending and Capital)Oversees plant and facility projects and all facility maintenance. Identify, justify and direct the implementation of continuous improvement projects to ensure their success in manufacturing and site wideParticipate and ensure safe operating conditions exists throughout the entire facilities. Promptly correct any unsafe conditions.Coordinates and implements installation, maintenance, and repair programs for new equipment or machinery and layout changes.Assures / supports compliance in the areas of Preventive Maintenance and Building/Grounds.Develops and leads projects/programs that strive to achieve cost reductions and improve operating conditions.Monitors department compliance to OSHA and company’s safety policy and procedures.Assures that building, interior and exterior, is kept in optimal conditions (i.e., painting, cleanliness, structural safety, among others).Performs other related duties as assigned.DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS – Education and ExperienceProfessional background of Engineering, preferably Civil, Electrical, Industrial or Mechanical.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 9+ years of experience. Master degree with 5+ years or Doctoral degree 3+ years of experience.Professional Engineer License is a plusPMP certification a plusAt least four (4) years of experience with demonstrated success in leading large-scale projects with proven results and effective leadership and management skills. Minimum of 3 years engineering experience in an FDA regulated environment, with exposure to facility and Buildings and Ground.Knowledge of FDA, OSHA, EPA, PRASA, PREPA, GPM's and Federal and Local regulations.Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulics, HVAC systems, electronic, welding, molding presses, electricity, stamping, programmable controllers, plumbing, electrical and pneumatic systems.Strong Project Management skills. Proven results oriented professional, with excellent due dates compliance acumen.Problem solving and communication skills.Excellent Team building and developmental skillsGood communication and organization skillsGood analytical and problem-solving skillsLean Six Sigma and Process Excellence training/knowledge a plusAbility to work independently to establish priorities with a minimum amount of day-to-day direction.
