Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Universal Pictures Korea is the first office in Korea to directly distribute Hollywood films, with a history spanning over 30 years. We are responsible for all aspects of the film business in the country—from acquisition and distribution to release.
Role Summary
As a Senior Executive, Partnership Marketing, you’ll take the lead in building impactful collaborations with top-tier brands, platforms, and theaters to bring our films to wider audiences. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams—from brand and consumer products to publicity and sales—and serve as the key bridge between our local team and global headquarters. This is a role where strategic thinking meets hands-on execution, and where your creativity directly shapes how fans experience our content.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Develop and execute partnership marketing strategies based on the specialty of the brand and content
+ Solicit and secure co-promotions with relevant local and international companies, platforms, distributors, and brands
+ Negotiate contracts with key partners, maintain relationships, and manage performance
+ Generate co-marketing ideas considering IP, content, and product attributes
+ Execute integrated promotions across media, partners, publicity, and digital platforms
+ Obtain approvals and execute plans through clear and efficient communication with head office
+ Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (sales, consumer products, PR, etc.)
Main Tasks
Promotion & Partnership
Partner Communication
+ Identify and pitch promotional partners for each film; coordinate and attend meetings
+ Communicate/liaise with local counterparts of Global Partners to amplify campaigns in the local market
+ Oversee partners and local agencies for promotion execution and act as key point of contact for this with Head Office.
Head Office (HO) Communication
+ Establish promotional strategies and plans through communication with Head Office.
+ Ensure consistent and clear updating on status of partnership’s discussions/negotiations
+ Manage the overall process for Head Office promotion and creative approvals
Cross Divisional Marketing
Brand marketing
+ Discuss long-term franchise planning and annual brand execution strategies with the brand team
+ Manage costume purchases and operations Consumer Products team
Consumer Products (CP) Communication
+ Collaborate closely with the CP team to pitch Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) category partners and facilitate the HO approval process
+ Reflect results in local campaigns
+ Collaborate with CP licensees for additional promotions during the theatrical release window TV Department
TV Distribution (TVD) communication
+ Confirm rights for franchise films and discuss TV scheduling
Exhibitor Marketing
Premium Large Format (PLF) Movie Marketing
+ Coordinate with Head Office and local offices for IMAX, 4DX/SCREENX, Dolby, and other special formats
+ Manage event promotions and premium production approval processes with Head Office
Exhibitor Marketing
+ Plan and execute promotions through communication with exhibitors
+ Manage theater concessions and photo ops
Basic Requirements:
+ Over 7 years of relevant experience (brand marketing, partnership marketing, content marketing, etc.)
+ Fluent English communication skills as working language, native-level proficiency in Korean
+ Excellent negotiation and business communication skills
+ Experience managing diverse stakeholders and resolving issues
+ Strong project management, time management, and execution skills
Desired Characteristics:
+ Experience in the film, content, or entertainment industry with a strong understanding of audience engagement and fan culture
+ Established relationships with top-tier brands
+ Ability to think both creatively and strategically, with a passion for storytelling and brand building
