**Job Title:** Senior Estimator – Civil Construction **Location:** Dorchester, MA **Job Type:** Full-Time, Hybrid (Onsite Preferred) **Pay Range:** $160,000 – $200,000 plus Bonus **Benefits:** Health, Dental, Vision, HAS, 401K, PTO, and More **Job Summary** Adecco Permanent Recruitment is partnering with a well-established company in the civil construction space to help them hire a Senior Estimator. This is a high-impact opportunity to take ownership of complex utility and infrastructure bids, support growth toward $100M+ in annual revenue, and step into a Chief Estimator role within 2–3 years. The ideal candidate is an independent executor with strong estimating experience on large-scale projects and the leadership ability to help build a high-performing preconstruction team. **Key Responsibilities** + Lead and contribute to detailed estimates for large-scale civil or utility construction projects ($6M+) + Analyze project plans and specifications to perform accurate quantity take-offs and cost assessments + Collaborate with internal teams on scope review, bid strategies, and final proposal submissions + Develop and manage pricing structures, vendor outreach, and subcontractor relationships + Support strategic growth by helping the company compete on larger, more complex bids + Mentor junior estimators and contribute to the long-term development of the estimating function + Work closely with senior leadership to shape estimating tools, workflows, and team structure **Qualifications and Must-Haves** + Minimum 5 years of experience estimating civil, heavy civil, or utility construction projects + Proven success with project estimates of $1 million or more + Experience supporting or working in firms targeting $100M+ in annual business + Strong knowledge of take-offs, cost analysis, scope development, and bid preparation + Proficient in plan review and digital takeoffs (Bluebeam preferred) + Familiarity with estimating software (Bid2Win is a plus, but not required) + Hands-on, independent work style; must be detail-oriented and proactive + Background at a mid-sized or large general contractor strongly preferred + Prior field experience or progression from Project Engineer to Estimator is a plus + Leadership experience or mentoring of junior team members a bonus **Pay Details:** $160,000.00 to $200,000.00 per year Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.adecco.com/en-us/candidate-privacy The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: + The California Fair Chance Act + Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance + Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers + San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance
