Job Description:

The Opportunity: Contribute to the Sustainability Initiative at TJX

This impactful role will support TJX’s Environmental Sustainability program, with a focus on GHG inventory management, assurance, analytics, and reporting. This will include the collection of environmental sustainability data and metrics (including Scope 1, 2, & 3 emissions data, waste, and renewable energy) across multiple geographies, working with applicable systems and tools. Through this work, you will enable the achievement of strategic goals, ensure the completeness and accuracy of data, and support the development of TJX’s disclosures to various reporting frameworks. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week on-site at our Framingham, MA location.

What You Will Do:

GHG Inventory Management

Partner with key internal stakeholders, in Finance, Global Sourcing and Procurement, and Facilities across multiple geographies to facilitate the collection of complete and accurate activity data for the GHG inventory, to support disclosure to mandatory and voluntary reporting frameworksTransform and validate activity data, to facilitate the calculation of a complete GHG inventory within TJX’s Carbon accounting platform (incl. data analysis and execution of key controls)

3rd Party Verification

Support TJX’s third-party verification of our environmental data, metrics, and disclosures through both direct contributions as well as coordination with stakeholders to manage timelines, priorities, and deliverablesIdentify process improvements, data gaps, new potential areas for enhancement or automation, and provide research on current and future reporting requirements

Reporting, Analytics and Disclosure

Maintain key datasets, reports, and dashboards across multiple business systems to meet stakeholder needs with timely and accurate data and reportingProficient communication and summarization of relevant metrics, data and processes to stakeholders and leadership

What we are looking for:

This position has a starting salary range of $74,500.00 to $95,000.00 per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
