Ensures continuous alignment of architecture with business strategy using metadata to ensure technology initiatives support objectives to drive performance and maintain a competitive edge. Emphasizes shared business capabilities to boost delivery efficiency, accelerate integration, optimize spend, and enable accelerated adaptation to dynamic market challenges and technology innovation. Standardizes vocabularies and taxonomies to improve clarity, communication, and efficiency across the organization by reducing ambiguity and enhancing stakeholder understanding. Leads development of enterprise architecture standards, enforcement and compliance. Applies advanced knowledge of the business and IT architecture principles to identify and evaluate alternatives solutions. Leads the selection of methodologies, tools, and components of total IT solutions. Provides guidance and support for solution architects to implement complex architectural strategy and direction of multiple and diverse application / data/network disciplines on a variety of multi-platform systems. Uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Top-down enterprise design with focus on business model, digital transformation and innovation i.e. collaborate with business owners, technology leaders and risk partners to draft the tech strategy, reflecting the corporate objectives/strategy. 2. Lead process mapping and modeling initiatives using BPMN 2.0 to enhance utilization of metadata promoting operational efficiency and regulatory compliance across lines of business. 3. Partner with client and employee workforce teams to utilize journey mapping to assist the design and implementation of customer-centric strategies and workforce optimization efforts. 4. Apply Six Sigma Black Belt methodologies to drive process improvement events that reduce risk, improve cycle times, and enhance service delivery. 5. Develop and maintain product and service architectures that align with business goals, regulatory standards, and evolving financial technologies. 6. Design and implement enterprise frameworks that align business and technology roadmaps, ensuring seamless integration across front, middle, and back-office operations. 7. Collaborate with risk, operations, and compliance stakeholders to embed governance and control frameworks within business architecture practices, including leading the execution of Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA **)** within Enterprise Architecture to include control mapping, service level alignment, and credible challenge practices. 8. Apply Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles to support agile delivery of digital financial products and enterprise-wide initiatives. 9. Provide process architecture leadership for target-state design, vendor solution evaluation, and RFP responses in support of platform modernization and ecosystem integration. 10. Lead project-to-product transformations, aligning delivery teams and investment models with business value streams. 11. Drive integration efforts, ensuring seamless connectivity between core banking platforms, CRM systems, data warehouses, and ancillary fintech solutions. Note: The difference between Enterprise Architect, Sr. Enterprise Architect is scope, years of experience, and complexity of the business line and related technologies. **QUALIFICATIONS** **Required Qualifications:** 1. Bachelor's degree in Business or IT, or equivalent education and related training 2. Fifteen years of architecture/design/delivery experience which includes ten years of enterprise architecture experience or fifteen years' solution architecture experience in technology and security, and ten years of banking/financial business domain 3. Comprehensive experience with various architectural domains such as application, data, infrastructure, security and integration 4. Strong analytical and broad architectural skills 5. Strong verbal and written communication skills 6. Strong negotiation/facilitation skills 7. Significant knowledge of current and emerging architecture principles, methodologies and tools 8. Experience as negotiator with vendors for relevant products and services 9. Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking with ability to differentiate feasible from academic solutions 10. Demonstrated thought-leadership skills with the ability to translate high-level business planning information into application needs/solutions 11. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products 12. Ability to travel, occasionally overnight **Preferred Qualifications:** 1. Lean Six Sigma certification. 2. Banking industry business architecture experience, specifically BPPA (Banking Product and Platform Architecture) framework. 3.
